So, Anthony and I have been watching Smallville from beginning the very beginning, of its seasons, lately. We just spend all day watching the seasons, trying to catch up, and it's a really awesome show, which I didn't expect. I've always been a Marvel comics fanatic, DC wasn't really ever my bag of goodies, except Batman of course, I love the Batman.
But watching a show about a young Superman, is really fun, to see all these characters show up that you've known about forever, and have been expecting. It's cool to see how they incorporate some of the original actors of the movies (e.g. Christopher Reeve, Margo Kidder, Annette O'Toole) into the show in vital roles (e.g. the man to who tells Clark his origins, the woman who ... well still not sure what her role was, and Clark's mom; respectively, of course.) It's just amazing, the thought put into this series.
Plus, Tom Welling plays a really good 15 year old to 20-something, for a guy who is currently 32. Yeah, that's right, 32. I still can't believe it. That means he was like, 24, when the whole series started, he's super young looking. That's for sure. But I dunno, I'm excited to get catched ... caught, up. We're currently at the beginning of season 5. Anyway, back to watching the dealio.
